Notes Microsoft will be discontinuing Microsoft Points in favor of real money
When Microsoft first started its points virtual currency years ago, they said it was to keep everything simple across regions and across currencies. But by the end of this year, the company will be completely phasing out Microsoft Points in favor of regional currency, which will make it easier for customers to keep track of how much they’re really spending.
