Lyle Waggoner & Peter Deyell: screen test for ‘Batman TV series’ - 1965

As Batman fans all know. The classic Batman live action Tv series stared Adam West and Burt Ward as the dynamic duo. Fighting crime and punishing the wicked on a weekly basis. Yet, before the two could race out of the bat cave. The produces wanted to screen test two other actors for the roles of Batman and Robin. Compare this footage against Adam and Burt’s original test.  You’d have to admit, Adam West is a damn fine actor.
